Won three hurdles on good ground between April and June, culminating in a Class 2 success over two miles and a furlong at Cartmel. Today's mark of 128 is 6lb above the rating for that latest win, so this remains a stiffer task at the weights. His August third at Perth showed he could be competitive from a higher mark, but he was beaten 32 and a half lengths at Chepstow on 9 October. He stays at two miles on good ground, conditions under which he also won a Hereford hurdle in November 2025. A mark of 121 is 3lb higher than for the Sandown placing, asking a little more despite the drop in class. He returns after 189 days off, with the main question whether he can reproduce that encouraging April effort straight away.

He is 1lb lower than for that run, but remains 7lb above his March 2026 winning mark at the same course. Today's drop of a furlong brings him to two miles, a distance at which he won at Plumpton in February 2023. Brian Hughes adds considerable course experience, with 112 Wetherby winners, which is a useful positive for his chance.
