His third at Wolverhampton on 13 October, beaten a length and a quarter over a mile and six furlongs, was a welcome improvement. He remains on 80, fully 12lb below his latest Flat winning rating at Wolverhampton in July 2025, leaving him attractively treated on that form. Trust is still an issue after his fourth here on 17 September, when he was beaten 94 lengths over today's distance on Standard. The return to two miles and half a furlong is nevertheless supported by his course-and-distance victory in March 2025.

Finished fifth at Haydock on 26 September, beaten 26 and a quarter lengths over a mile and six furlongs on heavy ground, leaving plenty to prove. His Class 2 victory over a mile and four furlongs at York in August 2024 shows the ability he once brought to the table. A mark of 80 is 15lb below his rating for that success, but he needs to rediscover that level to exploit the concession. Standard conditions brought no revival at Lingfield in February, when he finished seventh over a mile and four furlongs, beaten 14 lengths.

Won over two miles at Kempton on 7 October, building on his August second at Lingfield and giving him a persuasive recent Flat profile. That Lingfield effort came on Standard, when he was beaten a length, so today's conditions have some support beyond his Kempton success on Standard/Slow. He rises 5lb to 74 and moves from Class 5 to Class 4, with an extra half-furlong also making this a sterner test. Tom Marquand's 13 winners from 51 rides in the past fortnight provide another positive as he bids to follow up.

September seconds at Newcastle and Ripon suggest he is holding his form, with the latter coming in this grade over two miles on good ground. At Newcastle he was beaten half a length over today's two miles and half a furlong on Standard, a particularly relevant effort. He remains on 72, 4lb above his July winning rating at Carlisle, but those September efforts show he can be competitive from this mark. His fourth over this course and distance on 14 March, beaten three and three quarter lengths, offers further reassurance about the venue.

Successive July wins at Chester and York give him solid credentials in Class 4, with the York success coming over today's two miles and half a furlong. His current mark of 72 is 3lb above his rating for that York win, so he needs a little more than he did then. He returns to this grade after finishing thirteenth in Class 2 at Newmarket on 10 October, beaten 14 lengths over two miles and two furlongs. April's third here over a mile and six furlongs on Standard, beaten a length and three quarters, provides encouragement for the surface switch.

Won here over a mile and four furlongs on Standard in March, giving her a useful course success to draw on for this return. Her half-length second over two miles at Goodwood in May offers encouragement for today's longer trip, which is half a furlong beyond her latest distance. She does need to recover from her eleventh at Goodwood on 11 October, beaten 15 and a half lengths on good to soft. A mark of 71 leaves her just 1lb above her March winning rating, offering some scope if the return to Southwell revives her.
