Class 4 hurdle wins at Uttoxeter in May and Newton Abbot on 17 October, both on good ground, give him solid claims in these conditions. He steps up two furlongs from that latest success to two miles and three furlongs, with his June third at Perth over two miles and four furlongs offering some encouragement. He was beaten thirteen and a half lengths at Perth, so that effort leaves a little to prove at this sort of trip. Harry Skelton is in excellent form, with 17 winners from 45 rides in the past fortnight.

His September hurdle win at Uttoxeter over two miles and four furlongs on good ground makes today's conditions appealing, with this trip a furlong shorter than at Uttoxeter. That followed a second at Newton Abbot in August, beaten two and a quarter lengths, so there is recent substance to his claims. He also finished second over today's two miles and three furlongs at Fontwell on 15 October, although being beaten 14 lengths on good to soft tempers enthusiasm. Jonjo O'Neill Jr. has ridden five winners from 18 mounts in the past fortnight.

Lee Edwards brings the experience of ten Warwick wins to the saddle for Simon Edwards's six-year-old, a useful positive in this Class 4 novice hurdle. By Dartmouth out of Executive Benefit, he has some pedigree encouragement for the good ground, with other offspring of his sire having won hurdles in those conditions. The assignment here is over two miles and three furlongs.

His Warwick bumper win in December 2025 and subsequent fourth in a Class 2 bumper at Windsor suggest he has ability to bring to hurdles. He was beaten five and a half lengths at Windsor on soft ground, a respectable effort at that level. However, he finished tenth, beaten 85 lengths, in a Haydock bumper in March and returns from 243 days off with that poor run to put behind him. His siblings Betty's Tiara and Betty's Daisy have won over hurdles, offering encouragement for today's assignment.

Won bumpers at Southwell and Hereford, the latter on good ground in March, so there is ability to work with as he develops over hurdles. His third at Ffos Las in May was less persuasive than the placing suggests, as he finished fourteen and three quarter lengths behind over two miles. He then unseated at Stratford on 17 October over two miles and six furlongs, leaving him with something to prove in his jumping. Today's trip is three furlongs shorter, at two miles and three furlongs.

Sam Twiston-Davies has ridden seven winners from 34 mounts in the past fortnight and knows Warwick well, giving Harriet Dickin's mare an encouraging jockey booking. Her sibling Avada Kedavra has won twice over hurdles, providing some encouragement for her prospects in this two miles and three furlongs novice. She is by Walk In The Park, whose offspring have won hurdle races on good ground, so there is also pedigree support for today's going.
