Jamie Snowden's six winners from 17 runners in the past fortnight mean this five-year-old mare represents a yard in good form. He has also enjoyed success at Sedgefield, while Isabelle Ryder has already ridden a winner at the course. By Shantaram, whose offspring have won hurdles on good ground, she has some pedigree encouragement for today's conditions in this 2m4f maiden.

Her second at Cartmel in June and third at Uttoxeter in July, both over hurdles on good ground, give her something to build on in this grade. However, she was beaten 16 and a quarter lengths when fourth over 2m7½f at Uttoxeter on 4 October, so that placing needs treating cautiously. She drops three and a half furlongs to 2m4f, with those summer placings having come over 2m1f and 2m respectively. Brian Ellison's 88 Sedgefield winners provide encouragement from a yard with considerable experience of the course.

A narrow second at Newcastle on 3 March gives her a sound starting point, having been beaten a length over two miles and four and a half furlongs on good to soft. That was much better than her February effort at Market Rasen, although today's return to Class 4 asks more. She resumes after 245 days away, with a half-furlong reduction in trip from Newcastle. Danny McMenamin and the Joel Parkinson and Sue Smith yard have won three of their four races together here, an encouraging course record from limited opportunities.

Her second in a Class 4 hurdle here over two miles and a furlong in November 2025 gives her some course form to recommend her. More recent efforts have been less persuasive, including ninth at Stratford on 29 October, beaten eleven and a quarter lengths over two miles and two and a half furlongs. Her Hereford third earlier in October was also a distant one, twenty-six and a half lengths behind the winner. She was well beaten over today's course and distance on good ground in September, so a return to this grade demands more.

Her second at Fontwell on 15 October was an encouraging hurdle effort, beaten two and three quarters of a length in a Class 4 over two miles and one and a half furlongs. She stays in the same grade here, but the extra two and a half furlongs give her a longer test to negotiate. Brian Hughes brings extensive experience and plenty of success at Sedgefield, which is a positive for Charlie Longsdon's filly. The stable is also in good form, with four winners from ten runners in the past fortnight.
