Won a Class 4 hurdle over 2m1f at Newton Abbot on 7 September, establishing his effectiveness at today's distance on good ground. He followed that with a narrow second in Class 3 company over 2m½f at Market Rasen on 26 September, again on good ground. Returning to Class 4 at his winning trip gives him a strong case, with those September efforts showing a promising aptitude for hurdles. Dan Skelton's yard is also going well, with 18 winners from 95 runners in the past fortnight.

Beaten 29 and a half lengths when sixth in a Class 3 Flat race at Salisbury on 30 June, he needs to show considerably more over hurdles. He had also finished well back when eighth over a mile and half a furlong at Wolverhampton on 1 June. He returns after 126 days for this two-mile-one-furlong hurdle, a markedly different assignment from his June Flat races. Lorcan Murtagh's six wins at Sedgefield bring some welcome course experience to the saddle.

Sixth in a Class 4 hurdle at Wetherby on 14 October, beaten 24 and a quarter lengths, he needs considerable improvement to get involved here. His preceding Flat run offered little encouragement either, finishing eighth over 1m2f at Beverley in September, beaten 11 and three quarters of a length. Wins at Chelmsford and Newcastle in 2025 show some Flat ability, but he has yet to reproduce that level in his recent efforts. Oscar Palmer has ridden a winner from seven rides in the past fortnight, providing a modest positive from the saddle.

Fourth in a Class 4 hurdle over 2m½f at Market Rasen on 25 October, he was beaten 38 lengths and needs a substantial step forward. His June Flat run at Yarmouth was also disappointing, finishing ninth over a mile on soft ground, beaten 14 and three quarters of a length. Zarak has sired hurdle winners on good ground, offering some encouragement for today's going without removing the concerns raised by his recent performances. Charlie Maggs has ridden two winners from 12 rides in the past fortnight, providing a positive from the saddle.

His second over 2m at Wetherby on 14 October, beaten a length and a quarter on good to firm, gives him a solid chance here. That followed a Class 4 third over today's 2m1f trip at Cartmel in August on good to soft, so the distance holds some reassurance. He finished 23 lengths ahead of Captain Bruce at Wetherby, giving him a clear form edge over that rival. Brian Ellison and Brian Hughes have combined for 14 winners from 40 runners at Sedgefield, adding considerable course experience to his case.

Fell in a Class 4 hurdle over 2m1½f on good ground at Fontwell on 3 October, making a clear round an immediate priority here. Her Flat second at Leopardstown in June 2025, beaten half a length over 7f on soft ground, showed she possesses some ability. However, she was well below that level at Ripon in July, finishing fifth over a mile on good to firm, beaten 33 and a half lengths. Jessica Bedi has sent out a winner from four runners in the past fortnight, offering a little encouragement from the yard.

Her recent Flat form offers limited encouragement, with an eighth at Nottingham on 14 October leaving her nine and a half lengths behind the winner. That was over 1m½f on good to soft, whereas this 2m1f hurdle on good ground presents a substantially different test. She showed some ability when second over 6f at Carlisle in September 2025, but today's assignment places much greater emphasis on stamina. Jamie Hamilton's experience of Sedgefield is a plus, with 22 course winners to his name.

Pulled up on good ground at Market Rasen on 26 September and on good to soft at Chepstow on 10 October, she needs a much better effort over hurdles. She remains in Class 4 company after Chepstow, with today's 2m1f asking her to go a furlong further than she did there. Callum Pritchard has ridden a winner from seven rides in the past fortnight, offering a small positive for her chances.
