Her third over hurdles at Stratford in April, beaten five lengths, gives her a respectable Class 4 effort to bring to this chase. A two-mile hurdle win at Wetherby in November 2025 also shows the ability she has to draw on around today's distance. She returns after 198 days off from a chase mark of 109, with the task of carrying that hurdle ability over the larger obstacles. Her sibling Sporting Glance has won over fences, offering some family encouragement for that task.

Successive Huntingdon chase wins in December and January established his credentials around two miles, with the January success coming from a mark of 103. He has since finished second twice from today's 108, most recently beaten two and three quarters of a length at Chepstow in April. His close third over this course and distance in December adds encouragement, having finished a length and a quarter behind the winner. He returns after 215 days away, with the trip and good to soft ground matching his Chepstow assignment.

Won a Class 2 chase at Fontwell in March on good to soft and returns to fences from 106, 4lb above that winning mark. His subsequent chase second at Plumpton was a distant one, beaten 22 lengths, although he finished much closer over hurdles at Fontwell in April. A win and a December second over this course and distance give him sound credentials for today's conditions. He returns after 193 days off, dropping three furlongs from the trip of his latest hurdle outing.

Finished third over fences at Newton Abbot in October, beaten six and three quarters of a length, giving him something to build on here. He is 1lb lower on 104, although the move from Class 5 to Class 4 makes this a stiffer assignment. His August hurdle win at Stratford over two miles and half a furlong shows useful ability around today's distance. Today's good to soft also holds encouragement from his hurdle second at Plumpton in December, when beaten half a length.

Won over fences at Worcester in October on good to soft, so today's ground is a positive as he bids to follow up. A Plumpton win in April and second at Hereford in May had already shown his effectiveness over fences around two miles. He now races from 103, 6lb above his Worcester winning mark, and the move from Class 5 to Class 4 asks more of him. Bryan Carver brings some encouragement from the saddle, with two winners from 17 rides during the past fortnight.

Finished fifth over fences at Newton Abbot in October, beaten 12 lengths, leaving him with ground to make up on that performance. He is now 4lb lower on 101, although this represents a rise from Class 5 to Class 4. His hurdle second at Catterick in February, beaten a length on good to soft, offers encouragement for today's ground. He subsequently finished eighth over hurdles at Taunton in April, beaten twenty-five and a half lengths. Chase-winning siblings Sapphire Lady and Only The Bold provide some encouragement for his prospects over fences.

His two-mile hurdle win at Plumpton in November 2025 gives him ability to draw on, although he needs to reproduce that level over fences. He fell over hurdles at Sandown in January and finished tenth on the Flat at Goodwood in October, beaten fourteen and three quarters of a length. A Plumpton hurdle success on good to soft in January 2023 offers some encouragement for the ground. Jamie and Josh Moore have had two winners from 13 runners during the past fortnight.

Finished fourth over hurdles at Ffos Las in April on good to soft, but the 15-length defeat leaves him needing a stronger performance here. He had been pulled up at Kelso in February, so his recent hurdle efforts give him something to prove in this chase. He returns after 205 days off for a Class 4 handicap over two miles, racing from a chase mark of 107. Other offspring of Pether's Moon have won chases on good to soft, offering some pedigree encouragement for today's conditions.

Won over hurdles at Hereford in March and Stratford in April, with the latter success coming in today's Class 4 grade. Her close third at Market Rasen in July showed she could remain competitive from 108, the mark she carries over fences here. Her October efforts were less encouraging, finishing fifth at Southwell and Stratford, beaten 23 lengths and seventeen and three quarters of a length respectively. She needs to recapture that stronger spring and summer hurdle form to make an impact in this chase.
