Went close when second over this course and 2m4½f on good ground in May, a persuasive piece of form for this assignment. He returns from the same mark of 110, just 1lb above the rating from which he won at Kempton in November 2025. That leaves him with a credible chance on form, although the 160-day absence introduces a question about his readiness. Chad Bament has ridden three winners from 14 mounts at Plumpton, providing some useful course experience in the saddle.

Won over this course and 2m4½f in December 2025, giving him a relevant success to draw on in today's Class 4 hurdle. His April return here ended in eighth, beaten 46 lengths on good ground, following another heavy defeat at Newbury and a pulled-up effort at Fontwell. He resumes after 210 days from a mark of 109, 3lb lower than in April, with the drop from Class 3 easing the task. Brendan Powell's nine winners from 32 rides in the past fortnight provide a positive alongside those reservations.

Finished a close fourth at Chepstow on 9 October, beaten three and a half lengths in a Class 4 hurdle from today's mark of 108. That gives him a sound basis for this, with the extra furlong taking him to 2m4½f. He is 6lb below his winning rating at Ffos Las in October 2025, when successful over 2m4f in this grade. That success came on good ground, as did his Wincanton third in April, so today's conditions hold clear appeal.

His Perth hurdle win over 2m4f in July 2024 and subsequent Kelso second on good ground offer encouragement for this return to hurdles. Today's mark of 107 is 10lb below his rating for that Kelso placing, giving him a potentially workable starting point. He was beaten 23 lengths over hurdles at Hexham in October 2024, however, and his subsequent chase performances have been mixed. After 167 days away, he drops three furlongs from May's Huntingdon chase fourth, beaten fourteen and three quarters of a length.

His Class 4 hurdle win over 2m at Lingfield in February gives him a positive starting point, although it came on heavy ground. He fell at Wetherby in March over 2m5½f on good ground, leaving that subsequent attempt without a completed performance. Today's 2m4½f is a furlong shorter than Wetherby but still considerably further than his Lingfield winning trip, and he returns after 220 days. Conor O'Farrell arrives in good form, with five winners from 15 rides during the past fortnight, offering encouragement from the saddle.

Completed a three-race hurdle winning sequence here in December 2025, and his current mark is 4lb above the rating for that 2m success. His subsequent form was less convincing, culminating in seventh at Ascot in March, beaten 18 lengths, before this 218-day absence. The drop of three furlongs from that Ascot run brings him closer to the 2m4f of his Windsor win. Today's good ground differs from the good to soft and soft conditions of those three wins, leaving something to prove under these conditions.

Finished third in a Class 4 hurdle at Fontwell in September, although the seventeen and a half lengths behind the winner temper enthusiasm for the placing. He contests this handicap from 102 and needs a more competitive effort than that to make his presence felt. The move to 2m4½f adds a furlong and a half to his Fontwell trip, with good ground again underfoot. Nicky Henderson and Nico de Boinville have combined for 12 winners from 37 runners here, a notable course record for his connections.
