Returned to winning form over five furlongs on soft at Naas on 10 October, beating Gerrit's Gem by a length and a quarter. That came after a disappointing September effort here on yielding ground, and the latest success makes today's soft conditions a clear positive. He also won over this course and distance on soft in April, so there is plenty to like about the task. A 7lb rise to 96 makes this a tougher assignment on the ratings, so he needs to build on the level shown at Naas.

Her fifth in a Class 1 over six furlongs here on soft on 4 October, beaten three and a quarter lengths, gives her a useful recent effort. Her subsequent eleventh over the same course and trip on 15 October, beaten ten and a half lengths, was much less encouraging. The drop to five furlongs is supported by her course win on heavy in November 2025 and third on soft to heavy in March 2026. A mark of 90 still leaves her 7lb above her latest success, over six furlongs here in April, so she needs a return to her better form.

His third over five furlongs on the all-weather at Dundalk on 2 October, beaten a length, makes the return to this trip appealing. He was tenth here over six furlongs on soft ground on 15 October, eight and a half lengths behind the winner, so needs to leave that effort behind. Today's mark of 89 is 5lb below his Navan win in May 2025, giving him room to be competitive on that form. W. J. Lee arrives with four winners from 27 rides in the past fortnight, a useful positive for his chances.

Third over five furlongs at Navan on 21 October, beaten a length and three quarters on yielding ground, she showed more than in her September defeats here. She now returns to the mark of 83 from which she won over this course and distance on yielding to soft in September 2025. That gives her a fair handicap chance, with three Curragh wins demonstrating that she can be effective at this venue. Today's soft ground is a question, though, after she finished seventh on it at Naas on 10 October, five lengths behind Stag Night.

Won a Class 4 contest over seven furlongs at Chester in September on good to soft, showing she can be effective with some give underfoot. Her current mark of 78 is 8lb above her rating for that success, so reproducing that performance may not be enough in this handicap. She finished sixth over five furlongs at Navan on 21 October, beaten four and a quarter lengths on yielding ground, and needs more at this trip. Soft ground also poses a question after her eight-and-a-half-length fifth over seven and a half furlongs at Roscommon on 12 October.

Won over five furlongs at Bellewstown on soft to heavy in September and has backed that up with two placed efforts here on soft ground. His latest second, beaten four lengths over six furlongs on 15 October, gives him a solid recent effort to build on as he drops a furlong. Today's mark of 77 is 10lb above his Bellewstown winning rating, although he showed he could remain competitive from it in that latest outing. A six-furlong win here on heavy ground in March adds further substance to his claims in testing conditions.

Her close fourth over this course and distance on soft to heavy on 28 March showed she could still be competitive, finishing a length and three quarters behind. She then finished tenth over six furlongs at Cork on soft on 4 April, beaten 31 lengths, and returns from a 211-day absence. The drop back to five furlongs brings her back to the trip of her Curragh win on soft to heavy in April 2024. Her mark of 76 is just 1lb above the rating for that success, leaving her on a workable mark if she retains that ability.

A close second over this course and distance on soft on 15 October gives him a persuasive claim, having been beaten three quarters of a length. That effort showed he could be effective in today's conditions, and a 2lb rise to 70 looks manageable if he can reproduce it. He won three times over five furlongs on the all-weather at Dundalk between November 2025 and March 2026, underlining his effectiveness at this trip. He remains 7lb below the rating for the latest of those wins, leaving him with an appealing mark judged on that success.

Successive seconds over five furlongs at Naas and Navan in October put him in the picture, with the latest defeat coming by half a length. The Naas run came on soft, when Stag Night beat him by a length and a quarter, so today's ground holds no obvious concern. He remains on 70 after that Navan second on yielding ground, and looks capable of making his presence felt again over the minimum trip. That is only 2lb above his latest winning rating, achieved over six furlongs on soft at Cork in September 2025.

His April win at Bellewstown came over today's five furlongs on soft ground, and a mark of 69 leaves him 6lb below his rating for that success. There was some encouragement in his fifth at Naas on 10 October, when beaten three lengths over this trip on soft. He needs to improve on his subsequent seventh at Navan, however, having finished eight and three quarters of a length behind the winner on yielding ground. Johnny Murtagh's four winners from 26 runners in the past fortnight offer a positive from the stable.

An August win over this course and distance on good ground gives him a clear claim, particularly now that he is 2lb below that winning rating. His July second here also came from today's mark of 67, so there is substance to his handicap appeal. Recent form is less convincing: he was eighth over five furlongs here on 15 October, beaten four lengths on soft ground. That followed a six-length defeat at Naas on soft, leaving him with something to prove in today's conditions despite his attractive mark.

She has been running over further, finishing eighth over seven furlongs at Leopardstown on good ground on 18 October, beaten five lengths. Today's two-furlong drop asks her to show more speed than those recent outings over seven furlongs and a mile have demanded. She has won over five furlongs on soft, at Navan in October 2023, which offers encouragement for this change of trip and ground. Her mark of 62 is also 8lb below her latest winning rating, achieved over six furlongs here on heavy ground later in October 2023.

Won over five furlongs on soft at Bellewstown in April, so today's trip and ground are a combination on which he can be effective. His mark of 53 is 2lb below that success, which gives him a reasonable chance if he can recapture his spring form. However, he was beaten five and a half lengths when sixth over the same trip on soft at Nottingham on 28 October and returns just four days later. His third over six furlongs here in April offers some encouragement for the return to the Curragh.
