Won over two and a half miles at Listowel in September, following a Galway second in July and a Downpatrick win in May. That sequence gives him a solid recent hurdle profile, but today's three miles and half a furlong asks considerably more of his stamina than the Listowel trip. His Downpatrick success came over two miles six furlongs, which offers some encouragement for the longer distance without settling the question. Paul Townend comes here in good form, having ridden four winners from seven mounts in the past fortnight.

Won over three miles here on good ground on 11 October, finishing 12 lengths ahead of Siege Of Carthage and giving him a persuasive recent course performance to build on. That success followed a pulled-up effort at Fairyhouse in April, so it was a welcome return to form. Today's three miles and half a furlong is only a small increase in distance, while his January hurdle second at Thurles provides encouragement for yielding ground. His February second over this trip at Haydock also suggests the distance should suit.

Returned to hurdles with a second over three miles here on 11 October, though the 12-length gap to Minella Emperor leaves him with ground to make up against that rival. Today's extra half a furlong makes this a similar test of stamina, with the going changing from good to yielding. His July hurdle win at Limerick and close third at Tramore in August are positives, but his October chase fifth at Gowran Park was a heavy defeat, beaten 45 lengths. His hurdle second at Navan in November 2025, beaten three quarters of a length over 2m on soft to heavy, showed promise. He was less effective when fifth at Down Royal on 4 May, finishing nine lengths behind over 2m1½f on good ground. After 181 days off, he steps up seven furlongs to 3m½f, a substantial change which puts greater emphasis on his stamina. Gordon Elliott and Jack Kennedy have shared five winners from 16 runners in the past fortnight, adding encouragement from the partnership.

His Listowel hurdle second in September was encouraging, beaten a length and a quarter over two miles six furlongs on good ground. He now has another two and a half furlongs to cover on yielding ground, so this asks a different question of his stamina. Darragh O'Keeffe and Henry de Bromhead have combined for four winners from 16 runners in the past fortnight, a positive as he takes on this Class 1 novice hurdle.

Won over two miles six and a half furlongs at Ballinrobe in August, building on her June third over hurdles at Downpatrick and giving her something to take into this novice contest. She goes two furlongs further today, so greater stamina is required than for that success on good ground. Her bumper second at Limerick on yielding ground in October 2025 offers some encouragement for today's going, although that was over two miles. John McConnell has had two winners from 22 runners in the past fortnight, a modest positive for her return after 69 days away.
