Won a Class 1 chase over two and a half miles at Cheltenham in March before finishing third at Aintree in April, beaten two and a half lengths. That is strong chase form on good to soft, but he now returns to hurdles from 145 after 205 days off. His tenth over hurdles at Auteuil in October 2022, beaten 34 and a half lengths on heavy ground, offers little reassurance for the switch. Harry Skelton's 16 winners from 47 rides in the past fortnight add encouragement.

Won a Class 1 hurdle over three miles at Cheltenham on 12 March, then finished fourth at Aintree in April, beaten ten and a quarter lengths. He remains on the Aintree mark of 144, which is 9lb above his Cheltenham winning rating and demands more than that success alone. The return to two and a half miles raises a question, having finished sixth over this trip at Aintree in December 2025. His Sedgefield win in November 2023 shows he can win at the distance, though he now returns after 204 days off.

Won a Class 1 hurdle over this trip at Sandown on 3 January, following a Cheltenham success on good to soft in December. Her current mark of 138 is 4lb above the Sandown winning rating, leaving her with more to do on her return. She subsequently finished well beaten at Fontwell and Cheltenham, the latter by 18 and a half lengths on 13 March, and now returns after 233 days off. Dan Skelton's 17 winners from 80 runners in the past fortnight provide encouragement.

Needs to leave behind his eleventh at Chepstow on 9 October, when beaten 35 and a half lengths over two miles on good to soft. His narrow second at Bangor in March over two miles three and a half furlongs offers more encouragement for today's longer trip. A mark of 136 leaves him 4lb above his latest hurdle success, at Sandown in December 2024, so he still has something to find. Brendan Powell arrives in good form, with nine winners from 30 rides during the past fortnight.

Finished a respectable third in this grade at Plumpton on 19 April, beaten seven and a half lengths over three miles and a furlong from today's mark of 135. He drops five furlongs here, returning to the distance of his Class 2 hurdle win at Aintree in October 2024. That Aintree success came from 130, so he remains 5lb higher despite the encouraging Plumpton placing. Good to soft suits, as his Kempton hurdle win in March 2024 showed, and he returns after 196 days away.

Needs a substantial revival after finishing thirteenth at Chepstow on 9 October, beaten 40 lengths over two miles on good to soft. Returning to two and a half miles brings her back to the trip of her Class 2 win at Windsor on good ground on 1 January. Her mark of 126 is 3lb above that Windsor winning rating, giving her a chance if she can recapture that level. Dan Skelton's yard is going well, with 17 winners from 80 runners during the past fortnight.

His Class 1 second at Chepstow on 10 October, beaten two and a quarter lengths on good to soft, makes him a strong contender here. That followed two Flat wins at Hamilton in September, underlining a productive spell across both codes. Hurdle wins over two and a half miles at Hexham in May and June, on soft and good ground respectively, establish his effectiveness at today's trip. His mark of 126 is 14lb above the June winning rating and 4lb higher than at Chepstow, asking for another step forward.

Successive March hurdle wins at Newcastle and Musselburgh showed his progress, with the latter coming in Class 2 over two and a half miles on good to soft. He is now rated 126, 4lb above his Musselburgh winning mark, so this handicap asks a little more of him. His campaign ended with a pulled-up effort over two miles five and a half furlongs on soft at Ayr in April. After 198 days off, the return to a shorter trip and good to soft brings him back towards the conditions of his March successes.

Placed in Class 2 hurdles at Musselburgh and Kelso during January and February, he was also second at Kelso on 24 May, giving him solid form at this level. The return to two and a half miles is less reassuring, having finished sixth over that trip at Musselburgh on 1 January, beaten eleven and three quarters of a length. His latest outing brought a defeat of 27 and a quarter lengths on the Flat at Pontefract on heavy ground on 19 October. Ryan Mania's three winners from nine rides in the past fortnight offer encouragement.

Two Carlisle hurdle wins over two miles and a furlong in October and December 2024 give him a sound course grounding. His mark of 123 is 3lb above the December winning rating and 5lb below the mark for his latest start. That was a creditable sixth in Class 2 company at Sandown on 8 March 2025, beaten three and a half lengths. A Doncaster win over two miles three and a half furlongs encourages for today's longer trip, though the 603-day absence adds uncertainty.

Second at Musselburgh on 20 March, beaten a length and a half over today's trip on good to soft, she has suitable form to build on. That followed another close second at Market Rasen in February and a two-mile hurdle win at Ludlow in January. Her mark of 121 is 8lb above the Ludlow winning rating, although just 1lb higher than for the Musselburgh placing. Those three performances came in Class 4 company, so this Class 2 assignment asks more as she returns from 226 days off.
