Beaten thirty and a quarter lengths when seventh at Bangor in September, he needs a considerable revival despite a further easing of his mark. That followed another distant seventh over today's course and distance on good ground in June, when he finished 26 lengths behind the winner. His rating of 95 is 6lb below his latest hurdle win at Perth in July 2023, but that success over two and a half miles is now distant. Sean Quinlan's four winners from 16 rides in the past fortnight offer some encouragement from the saddle.

His close second over two and a half miles at Sedgefield in August remains a useful piece of hurdle form, beaten three quarters of a length in Class 4. Two subsequent Class 5 runs there were less convincing, although his fifth on 29 September was a better effort than his heavy defeat on 14 September. He is 2lb lower on 95 and drops back four furlongs, so must show he can be as effective over two miles. The Adam Nicol and Ryan Mania partnership has enjoyed success at Hexham, with five wins from nine runners together here.

Successive Sedgefield hurdle wins over two miles and a furlong in August and September were followed by a solid third there on 7 October, beaten four and three quarter lengths. He remains on 91, 7lb above the mark for the September success, but that latest effort shows he can be competitive from this rating. The drop to two miles should hold no great fears after his Uttoxeter second over that trip in July. Sam England and Jonathan England have enjoyed plenty of success together at Hexham, another positive for his chance.

His third over two miles at Wetherby in December 2025, beaten nine lengths on soft ground, gives him some hurdle form to build on. He failed to match it at Chepstow and Huntingdon, finishing eighth and 75 lengths behind the winner at the latter in March. More recently, he was beaten twenty-three and a half lengths when fourth on the Flat at Beverley on heavy ground on 30 August. He now contests a Class 5 handicap hurdle from 90, a drop in grade from those Class 4 hurdle assignments, but needs to show considerably more.

Pulled up on his latest hurdle start at Kelso in May, and his return to action ended with an unseat over fences at Perth on 23 September. That leaves him with plenty to prove back over hurdles, having also been beaten 33 lengths when fourth here over two miles on soft ground in May. His third at Carlisle in October 2025, beaten two lengths on good ground, offers some encouragement if he can rediscover that form. Derek Fox arrives in good touch, with four winners from 11 rides during the past fortnight.

Two Hexham hurdle wins over two miles on good ground, in April and June, make her easy to respect back under those conditions. She was well below that level here on 21 June, however, finishing seventh and beaten seventeen and a half lengths in this grade. Her mark of 86 remains 6lb above her 13 June winning rating, so she has more to do than when successful. She returns after 121 days off with Charlie Maggs aboard; he has won eight times from 39 rides at Hexham.

Finished seventh over hurdles at Market Rasen in September, beaten twenty-two and a quarter lengths on good ground, so a substantial revival is required. Today's two miles is two and a half furlongs shorter, and his course-and-distance hurdle win on good ground in June 2024 offers some encouragement. His mark of 85 remains 2lb above his latest hurdle success, over two miles and two furlongs at Kelso in September 2025. He showed better form over fences at Market Rasen in July, finishing second over two miles and a furlong, beaten a length and a half.

His two-mile Flat win at Redcar in July shows he retains ability, although he now needs to translate that form back to hurdles. He was fifth over two miles and half a furlong at Wolverhampton in September, beaten seven and a quarter lengths on his latest Flat outing. His November 2022 hurdle run at Newcastle ended in an eleven-place finish, beaten 39 lengths, leaving considerably more to prove in this discipline. Ewan Whillans and Craig Nichol have combined for four winners from 13 runners at Hexham, an encouraging course record for the partnership.

His second at Kelso on 4 October was encouraging, beaten a length and a quarter over two miles and five furlongs on good to firm. He drops five furlongs today, but won over this course and distance on good ground in June 2024, so the shorter trip has suited before. A further second here over two miles in June 2026, beaten five and a half lengths, adds more recent encouragement for these conditions. His mark of 77 is 7lb below his latest hurdle win, at Market Rasen in July 2025, giving him some scope on past form.

Well beaten over two and a half miles here on 2 October, finishing fifth and thirty-one and three quarter lengths behind the winner. His mark has eased from 80 to 77, offering some help, although the scale of that defeat demands much more. He drops back four furlongs, although his sixth over this course and distance in June was beaten seventeen and a quarter lengths. His third at Musselburgh in November 2025, beaten two and a half lengths over hurdles on good to soft, shows the sort of form he needs to recapture.

Won a Class 5 hurdle over two miles on good ground at Uttoxeter on 16 October, giving him a strong recent piece of form for this assignment. He remains on his winning mark of 96, which gives him a sound chance of following up under similar conditions. This is a quick return just four days after that success, so his ability to repeat the effort so soon will be important. Sean Bowen's 12 wins from 40 rides at Hexham add the benefit of a jockey with a good record here.
